Our Commitment to Reducing Waste

Amino and its parent company, Aferian PLC, have always complied with regulatory standards as they have been defined. However, long term goals for a reduced carbon footprint, for both Amino and it’s supply chain, require dedication and persistence. Amino is committed to environmental sustainability and has a multi-pronged approach to reducing waste.

Amino’s Upcycling Program leverages its investment in AminoOS to extend the life of the underlying hardware. This prevents the premature and unnecessary disposal of hardware.

Our next-gen products ship in packaging made from recycled paper, with plastics removed where possible. Paper booklet manuals are being replaced with online documents.

Our goal is to work with a supply chain that is sustainable at every stage. This means working with suppliers who are not only using recycled materials, but track and trace the use of materials back to the source.

Future plans include recycling returned plastic cases from Kamai series devices into R-series chassis – further reducing the volume of plastics ending up in landfills.
